Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
How long after placing my order can I expect delivery?
Typically 4 to 5 weeks.
How long will it take to install my conservatory?
From start to finish, a complete installation can take anything up to 4 weeks. This includes 1 week for base work, a 2 week manufacturing period (exact measurerments will be known after the base work is complete), and a further week for the installation of the conservatory. However, this is highly dependent on the size of the conservatory and associated building works. Please contact us for an estimate for the installation of your conservatory.
Are you a member of any professional organisations?
Yes. We are a FENSA registered company which means that we are a vetted company with insurance backed guarantees. As from 2001, every installation of windows and doors must be installed by a FENSA registered company and a certificate will be provided on completion. This is a legal requirement when selling your property.
Do I need planning permission for my conservatory?
In most cases, planning permission is not required. As a general rule, if the conservatory is going to be less than 30% of the existing ground-floor area (in square metres) of your house, you don't need to worry. However, in all cases we advise that you contact your local council and check what is required. We would be pleased to visit you and provide advice. |
